Candace is known for her speed and her heart. She gives everything she has in her matches and, due to her size, is often the underdog. Candace makes up for her physical short comings with her blazing speed and her uncanny agility. The Asian beauty uses an endless onslaught of chops, drop kicks and hurricanrana's to frustrate her opponents. She generally springboards off the ropes and flings herself at her opponent with reckless abandon--often taking a significant beating in the rare event she misses. Candace is a highly skilled wrestler who takes tremendous pride in her joshi background. She will never submit to anyone--rather to passout in pain than to quit in a contest.
Candace's ring attire is very basic, another throwback to her old school japanese wrestling heritage. She normally wears a white leotard and tank top in her matches, wrestling barefoot or with tapes wrists and ankles.

The crowd offers a loud ovation for the Asian beauty. Candace fires a karate chop into the air, raising her hands over her head and bowing as the crowd applaud the Japanese star. She starts down the entrance ramp, pausing to high five a few fans in the front seat as she makes her way to the ring.

Candace slides under the bottom rope, stopping enroute to her corner as the referee checks her for a foreign object. Candace, clad in a body hugging white leotard and
wearing a short red sheongsham, smiles as she obliges the official. Candace, who is wrestling barefoot, goes to her corner after the inspection, climbing to the top turn buckle and looking over the audience as the fans again applaud the Asian beauty.

Matsumoto waits for a few moments on the entrance ramp, then follows Okimura to the ring.

I’ve yet to figure out how Candace and Devil can function so well as a team, but there is no denying their success in the ring!

History:
Candace began her career in the Smart Marks efed many years ago. She was a woman wrestling in a primarily men’s federation and managed to capture their hardcore title. It was there that she was discovered by wrestling promoter Martin Frisconelli, who quickly pulled her from the promotion when he determined wrestling men in hardcore matches was not conducive to either health or career.
Frisconelli was also managing a Japanese wrestler who he discovered in the GCW promotion—Tomoko Devil Matsumoto. Matsumoto was the US Champion over in GCW, but Frisconelli felt she could do better in a federation that actually had a womens division. He teams Candace and Devil up and Asian Invasion entered the IWA promotion. The duo went on to both win the IWA World title as well as numerous runs with the tag team belts.
The IWA finally closed its doors and Frisco took Candace and Devil to the Ring of Beauty. They would quickly win the tag team titles there and Candace would go on to win the World title.
Candace and Devil would make several other runs in other promotions, generally collecting a fair share of gold before dissention between the two reared its ugly head. Life on the road was hard and as fame and money entered the equation the two Asian beauties found themselves venting at each other on a regular basis. The tag team disbanded shortly after a brief run in the 3WL promotion.
As time went by the two patched their differences and decided too take another tour in the United States. They applied for reinstatement at the 3WL promotion for one last run in the promotion.

Devil Matsumoto is slightly bigger than Candace and is the power member of the team. Matsumoto lacks Candace's speed and agility, but she had much stronger killer instincts and had the ability to bring the pain without diving off the ropes in the process. Matsumoto is slower and more deliberate, generally punishing her opponent with suplexes and vicious knees to the head as she wears them down for the kill. Matsumoto, also unlike Candace, is a submission specialist. The Devil has a particularly nasty version of the camel clutch--the Devils clutch--that is generally the end for most of her opponents.
